GableStage has consistently been acknowledged as "Best" by Miami NewTimes and SunPost, and has received numerous Curtain Up Awards. We are also proud of the honors listed below.
- The George Abbott Award was presented to Joseph Adler in 2000 for "outstanding achievement in the arts by members of S. Florida's arts, entertainment and media professions for significant contributions to the artistic life and cultural development of Greater Miami, Fort Lauderdale and the Palm Beaches."
- The 2000 Howard Kleinberg Award was presented to GableStage "for significant contributions to artistic expression and cultural development" for participating in the ACLU suit to overturn the "Cuba Affidavit".
- 2008 Community Service Award presented to Joseph Adler by the South Florida International Press Club.
- 2008 Truth Award presented to Joseph Adler by the Human Services Coalition
