JASON ALLEN (Billy) is pleased to be making his debut at GableStage. He received his formal
training in theatre right here in South Florida at New World School of the Arts. Jason was last seen
in Evita at Actors' Playhouse in Coral Gables. Other recent credits include Lucas in
Helluva Halloween with Mad Cat Productions, Lawrence in Home Free (part of
the Lanford Wilson one-acts at Horizons' Repertory) and Naphtali in Joseph and the Amazing
Technicolor Dreamcoat at Actors' Playhouse. Jason would like to say thanks for this wonderful
opportunity.
STEPHEN G. ANTHONY (Henry) is delighted to be at GableStage where he appeared in The
Othello Project when it was Florida Shakespeare. His most recent role was Tripp Davenport in
the Broward Center's production of Five Women Wearing the Same Dress (directed by his wife,
Kim St. Leon) and in the record-breaking run of I Love You, You're Pefect, Now Change
(Actors' Playhouse), for which he received his second Carbonell Award for Best Actor in a Musical. He also
received a Carbonell for Sylvia (Caldwell Theatre) in 1996, and was nominated the following
season for his portrayal of the Dentist in Little Shop of Horrors. Other local appearances
include: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, As You Like It, The Living, The Garden of Hannah List,
Keely and Du, The Killing of Michael Malloy, Biloxi Blues, Child's Play, Hughie, Carousel, Die
Fledermaus, La Boheme, West Side Story, Torch Song Trilogy and H.M.S. Pinafore. He
has done film and TV: Wrestling Ernest Hemingway, Mission of the Shark, B.L. Stryker, Miami
Vice, and numerous commercials. Steve is slated to direct the feature film, Lost
Everything, following the success of his short film, The Best Man. Special thanks
to the love of my life, who never ceases to amaze, inspire and challenge me. I thank God every day for
bringing us together.
HEATH KELTS (Max) is pleased to be making his GableStage debut. Most recently, he directed
Sleeping Beauty or Coma and Vampire Lesbians of Sodom at New World School of
the Arts. The shows will be remounted in May at The Miami Light Project. As an actor, Heath spent this
past summer at the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival doing Love's Labor's Lost and
Much Ado About Nothing. South Florida audiences may recognize Heath from Turn of the Screw,
Around the World in 80 Days and I am Camera at New Theatre; Speed-the-Plow
at Area Stage; and Action, Coitus and An Evening of Beckett at Juggerknot. Mr.
Kelts has an MFA in Acting from Professional Actor Training Program at the University of Washington. He
is an adjunct professor at New World School of the Arts.
JENNIFER LEHR (Debbie) is a recent graduate of New World College and UF, and is overjoyed to
be returning to GableStage. Recent roles include Anya in The Cherry Orchard, Nellie Nora
in Eclipsed, Lila St. Claire in her original one-person show, Quiet on the Set,
Goneril in King Lear, the Old Woman and Little Girl in The Vagina Monologues,
Gillian in Helluva Halloween, and Velvet in Popcorn at GableStage last season.
Having worked with her college professor, Paul Tei, in Popcorn, she now has the pleasure of
working post-college with her acting coach, Heath Kelts. It's going to be awesome. Thanks, Joe and the

PAMELA ROZA (Annie) most recently appeared in Bash with Juggerknot Theatre Co.
(Medea Redux). Last Spring, Pamela played Ruth (age 20 -25) in The Book of Ruth at New
Theatre. Prior to that, she appeared as Sharla in Killer Joe here at GableStage, for which she
received a Carbonell Award for Best Supporting Actress. Other favorite roles include Kyra in
Skylight at GableStage; Li'l Bit in How I Learned to Drive, Laura in Glass
Menagerie and Harper in Angels in America at New Theatre. Pamela is very happy to
be back at GableStage and working with Joe again. Thanks, Joe!
BARBARA SLOAN (Charlotte) is thankful to be returning to GableStage where she opened their first
season (as Florida Shakespeare Theatre) in Strange Snow and later in Burn This,
both of which garnered her Carbonell nominations. Other South Florida productions include Julia in
Far East, Ruth (at age 40) in Book of Ruth and What I Did Last Summer
at New Theatre; Queen Yolanda in The Disputation at Coconut Grove Playhouse; and Lil in
Last Summer at the Bluefish Grove at New River Repertory, for which she was again nominated
for a Carbonell. Barbara is co-owner and Director of the University Center for the Performing Arts,
where she also teaches physical theater, ballet and yoga.
PAUL TEI (Brodie) is ticked plaid to be back at GableStage where he was last seen in
Tape. Other shows at GableStage include Popcorn (Carbonell Award, Best Actor)
and Closer. South Florida credits include Never the Sinner, (at New Theatre),
Picasso at the Lapin Agile (at Actor's Playhouse), Oleanna, Speed-the-Plow, Raised in
Captivity, Voir Dire, Passage Beirut, Careless Love, The Caretaker, Baby with the Bathwater,
True West (at Area Stage), Endgame (at Akropolis). Hard Hats (at 3rd
Street Black Box), and Summer Shorts with City Theatre. Paul has his own theatre company,
Mad Cat, where he directed and co-wrote their first production, Helluva Halloween. Watch
for their next show, a hip-hop fable of St. Patrick, coming in March. He teaches theatre in the high
school and college programs for New World School of the Arts. Paul holds an MFA in Directing from the
Goodman School of Drama at DePaul University, and a BA in Theatre from Barry University. He can be seen
on TV in late February as the Cajun-licking Pringles guy.
