BOB ROGERSON (Thomas Paine) spent twenty (plus) years growing up in the Cape Cod area, twenty
(plus) years in New York City and several regional theatres, and now four (plus) years in South Florida.
In that time, Bob has performed in more than 90 stage productions, over two dozen national TV commercials,
several feature films and a handful of TV shows, most of which were designed for children. Favorite New

at Florida Stage; Steve in Heartbeats (Best Actor Carbonell nomination) at Actor's Playhouse;
John in The Cocktail Hour at the Berkshire Theatre Festival; James in That
Championship Season in Alabama; and Sgt. Toomey in Biloxi Blues in Connecticut. A few
of his film appearances include The Dance, The Shave, Mermaids and Deathwish. On
television you may have seen Bob in Clarissa Explains it All, Pete & Pete and feature
films for PBS.
JASON ALLEN (Adams, Mason, 2nd Guard) is pleased to be returning to GableStage after
his recent performance in The Real Thing. He received his formal
training in theatre right here in South Florida at New World School of the Arts. Jason was recently seen
in Evita at Actors' Playhouse in Coral Gables. Other credits include Lucas in
Helluva Halloween with Mad Cat Productions, Lawrence in Home Free (part of
the Lanford Wilson one-acts at Horizons' Repertory) and Naphtali in Joseph and the Amazing
Technicolor Dreamcoat at Actors' Playhouse. Jason would like to say thanks for this wonderful
opportunity.
KEN CLEMENT (Ben Franklin, Clootz) a South Florida native studied theatre with Barbara Lowery at
MDCC-North then relocated to LA in 1987 to attend California Institute of the Arts. Ken worked for several
seasons at the Hillside Repertory Company in LA as an actor and Fight Choreographer. Ken's favorite credits
from his time in LA include MacDuff in MacBeth at the Dramatic New Arts Theater, Shakespeare
in Damnit Shakespeare at the Globe, PooBah in The Mikado at the Avalon Playhouse,
and Col. Doctor in Tom Stoppard's E.G.B.D.F. with Patrick Stewart and Roger Reese at UCLA.
Since returning to Miami, Ken has appeared in several productions including Sleepwalkers
at Area Stage, Popcorn and Killer Joe at GableStage (receiving a Carbonell
nomination for Best Supporting Actor for the latter), The Typist at Timba, One Flew
Over the Cuckoo's Nest at Actor's Playhouse and the Mad Cat productions of Helluva
Halloween and Shepherd's Pie at The Miami Light Project. Ken also directed
Bash for Juggerknot Theater Company at Drama 101. Ken is 'uplifting adjective' to be working at
GableStage once again and considers himself the luckiest son-of-a-bitch he knows.
HEATH KELTS (Auctioneer, Jefferson, Bell, Hicks, Robespierre) is ecstatic to be working again at
GableStage with Joseph Adler and the excellent cast of Citizen Tom Paine. Heath was last seen
as Max in The Real Thing here at GableStage, and has appeared in theatres in New York,
Seattle, California, Virgnia and Florida. His favorite roles include Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet,
Deeley in Old Times, Jeep in Action, and Platonov in Platonov.
Heath has directed two one-acts that are running at the Miami Light Project right across town:
Sleeping Beauty or Coma and Vampire Lesbians of Sodom. He teaches his Physical
Acting Workshop at the Miami Light Project as well. Heath is presently an adjunct professor at New
World School of the Arts, and is excited to continue his dedication to being a full-time actor this
summer at the Lake Tahoe Shakespearean Festival.
KEVIN REILLY (Randolph, Washington) last appeared at GableStage in Side Man as the
"shmooth-shpeaking" trumpet player, Ziggy. He may also be remembered by Fort Lauderdale audiences
from the productions of Twilight of the Golds and London Suite (Off-Broadway
Theatre), and Park Your Car in Harvard Yard and That Championship Season (ARC
Repertory). Prior to coming to Florida, Kevin's long theatrical history included working with the Riverside
Shakespeare Company, Charlotte Repertory and the Champlain Shakespeare Festival. He also toured nationwide
with the National Theatre of Performing Arts, where he played such roles as Malvolio in Twelfth
Night, Garry in Present Laughter, Cardinal Richelieu in Three Musketeers
and in the Imaginary Invalid. Kevin studied acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse and the
National Shakespeare Conservatory.
GEORGE SCHIAVONE (Aitkin, Dunn, 2nd Member) is delighted to return to GableStage this
season. "Thank you Joe Adler." You may remember him as Jonesy in last season's production of
Side Man by Warren Leight. One might say this current role is art imitating life, as George is
responsible for creating and producing many of the GableStage posters and Playbill covers, including those
for Citizen Paine. Born in Brooklyn, George was raised in the environment of a shobiz family,
but as the late Mark Shannon once commented, "George is a man for all seasons." He has enjoyed a
successful career as a photographer and designer, and finds all aspects of creative human endeavor
fascinating; however, in his own words he admits, "Theatre is the most compelling."
GREG SCHROEDER (Dickinson, Redcoat A, Napolean) first played Napolean 14 years ago in a
production of George Bernard Shaw's, A Man of Destiny. Since then, he has gone on to write
and perform an educational program on Napolean's invasion of Russia in 1812. He has also enthralled high
school students across the US with his dramatic interpretations of some of Napolean's speeches, and has
been seen as Napolean at such diverse locales as the Miami Book Fair and Bloomingdale's department store.
Anything for a buck. Greg has performed in over a dozen plays at New Theatre, where one of his favorite
roles was another sweetheart of history, Adolf Eichmann in The White Crow: Eichmann in Jerusalem.
For over seven years, Greg has been playing Inspector Rigfield in the interactive comedy that
refuses to die, Murder at the Café Noir. Greg was last seen at GableStage in the
heartwarming role of Carlson, the man who shot Candy's dog in Of Mice and Men.
SARAH SLAUGHTER (Amy, Mme. Bonneville) comes from Austin, where she recently obtained a BFA in
Theatre. Favorite credits include: Our Country's Good (Liz), Black Comedy
(Fernival), The Vagina Monologues, Baby with the Bathwater (Helen), Man of La Mancha
(Aldonza), Anything Goes (Reno), Right You Are... (Frola), and
Hair (Chrissy). South Florida audiences have seen Sarah with Imagination Theater, Miami Shores and
Musicanna. A guitarist/songwriter as well, she is involved with writing children's theater and is
pursuing a recording career. Sarah thanks her friends and family deeply for their care and love. She is
honored to be a part of such a tremendous company here at GableStage.
PAUL TEI (James Monroe, Redcoat B, First Member) is happy to be back home at GableStage where he
was last seen in The Real Thing. Other shows in which Paul has appeared at GableStage include
Tape, Popcorn (Carbonell Award, Best Actor) and Closer. Other South Florida
credits include Never the Sinner, (at New Theatre),
Picasso at the Lapin Agile (at Actor's Playhouse), Oleanna, Speed-the-Plow, Raised in
Captivity, Voir Dire, Passage Beirut, Careless Love, The Caretaker, Baby with the Bathwater,
True West (at Area Stage), Endgame (at Akropolis). Hard Hats (at 3rd
Street Black Box), and Summer Shorts with City Theatre. Paul has his own theatre company,
Mad Cat, where he has directed and co-written their first two shows, Helluva Halloween and
Shepherd's Pie. When he isn't involved in some theatrical venture, Paul can be found at New
World School of the Arts where he teaches theatre for the high school and college program. Paul holds an
MFA in Directing from the
Goodman School of Drama at DePaul University, and a BA in Theatre from Barry University. Look for Paul on
television where he can be seen as the Cajun-licking, Pringles guy.
MICHAEL VINES (Zeke, Marat, 1st Guard) is very happy to be returning to GableStage
after being seen as Bill (the guy in his underwear) in last season's Popcorn. Originally from
Arkansas, Michael is a new arrival on the Miami theatre scene, and is enjoying every minute of it.
Recently, he played the role of Maewyn/Patrick in Mad Cat's critically acclaimed production of
Shepherd's Pie. Other South Florida credits include Helluva Halloween (Mad Cat);
Action, Mamet and Y2K (Juggerknot); The Princess and the Pea, Anne of
Green Gables and A Christmas Carol (Actors' Playhouse). When not acting, Michael
teaches the Youth Theatre classes and camps at Actors' Playhouse, something he finds very important. Much
love goes out to his South Florida friends, his family, and especially to Patience, his reason for being
here.
