ADAM BAUM AND THE JEW MOVIE   by Daniel Goldfarb

March 3, 2001 - April 1, 2001     FLORIDA PREMIERE

This was the Off-Broadway debut of a new playwright. It takes place in Hollywood in 1946, where a Jewish studio head is eager to make a movie about anti-semitism. He hires a successful WASP writer to ensure the script won't be "too Jewish."

This play recreates the life and times of the brilliant firebrand and pamphleteer whose words helped inspire the American Revolution, and the survival of George Washington's beleaguered Continental Army.

THE BLUE ROOM   by David Hare

A sensation in London and on Broadway, it is a present-day adaptation of Schnitzler's La Ronde, the controversial play that was closed by the police when it opened in Vienna in 1921. Two actors portray five couples in a variety of couplings.
