JOHN FELIX (Henry Kissinger) is very happy to be back at GableStage under Joseph Adler's direction, following Edward Albee's The Play About the Baby in February and March. Recent Florida credits: Murderer (Actors' Playhouse); The Man Who Came to Dinner, Breaking Legs, You Can't Take It with You, and Art (Florida Repertory Theatre). Other Florida appearances: Caldwell Theatre Company, Florida Stage, Riverside Theatre, Hippodrome Theatre, American Stage, Florida Shakespeare Company, etc., in addition to Diversions and Delights, a solo play about Oscar Wilde presented at several South Florida theatres. Awards and distinctions: Curtain Up Award; New Times "Best Actor" Citation; Carbonell Award.
PETER HAIG (Richard Nixon) has worked under Joseph Adler's direction in Arthur Miller's The Price at Minorca Playhouse; the British ghost tale, The Woman in Black at New Theatre; one of City Theatre's Summer Shorts; and as three characters in Twigs at Shores Performing Arts Center. Peter's recent theatre work includes Proposals at Actors Playhouse in Coral Gables, Porgy and Bess in Fort de France, Martinique and three productions at the new Mosaic Theatre in Broward County. Peter trained in New York, graduating from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, then worked on, Off- and Off Off-Broadway under such directors as George C. Scott and Joseph Papp. He is grateful for working in a profession which has taken him from Rikers Island Prison (Camino Real performed with and for the prisoners) to The Kennedy Center (The Hasty Heart, performed for President and Mrs. Ronald Reagan). Peter has been awarded the Best Supporting Actor Carbonell Award, and twice been named Best Actor by New Times. He is currently enjoying his continuing role as Trebly, the butler, in Ocean Drive, the telenovela about sin and skulduggery on South Beach now in production.
