JOHN BIXLER (Hally) is thrilled to be working at GableStage. He was most recently seen in The Santaland Diaries with Fresco Productions, and last summer appeared in The Last Sunday in June at the Caldwell Theatre. John received an Artie Award for his performance in Buffalo as Carl United Artist's production of The Baltimore Waltz. Other credits include Fool for Love with Piper Perabo, Cloud Nine, Hamlet, Endgame, Red Noses and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. John enjoyed originating the roles of Nelly in Spit for Distance and Alladdin/Dr. Rosen in Disengaged. John is a magna cum laude graduate with a BFA in Acting from Ohio University.
PAUL BODIE (Sam) is elated to return to GableStage and be working once again with Joseph Adler, a director he holds in highest regard. Paul's last appearance here was as Martin Luther King in The Meeting. Paul is reprising the role of Sam, as he first performed it in 1987 when he was beginning his acting career. Other theatrical roles include Charlie in Split Second (directed by Joseph Adler at the Ruth Foreman Theatre) and Blossom in The Hasty Hart. His film appearances include Redemption, Michael Karl and Temptation. TV credits include CSI Miami, Going to California, Shane and Sins of the City.
RODNEY GARDINER (Willie) is a graduate of New World School of the Arts in Miami and is now a resident of New York City. His early theatrical influence came from working with Teo Castellanos, performing at hospitals, juvenile jails and drug treatment centers. Rodney attended SUNY Purchase on a full scholarship, and was honored by the State of New York for Excellence in the Arts. He has since been featured at the Utah Shakespeare Festival and has been touring the tri-state area with Episodes in Blue, his original solo piece. Rodney recently wrapped up shooting of the independent film, Life with Episodes, and is scheduled to appear in the NY premiere of King Phycus this fall.
