DAVID KWIAT (Edward) has been seen at GableStage in QED (Carbonell Award for Best Actor), Dirty Blonde (Carbonell Award for Best Supporting Actor) Adam Baum and the Jew Movie, Psychopathia Sexualis and Mindgame with Lisa Morgan. Other productions he has been privileged in sharing the stage with Lisa include: Blind Date, The Weir and Molly Sweeney at New Theatre and Comic Potential at Actors' Playhouse. David was also one of Andrio Chavarro's acting professors at New World School of the Arts - and is delighted to be part of his GableStage debut. David is the recipient of the "Bill Hindman Award for Sustained Achievement", as well as New Times "Best Supporting Actor". As a founding member of New World Rep Company, David performed in Faith Healer, Marisol and UrFaust. David was a resident company member for ten seasons with Actors Theatre of St. Paul and has also performed at the Guthrie Theater, Arizona Theater company, Asolo State Theatre of Florida and the Minnesota Festival Theatre.
LISA MORGAN (Alice) was seen earlier this season here at GableStage as Nancy in Frozen and prior to that as Nurse Plimpton in Mindgame. Lisa has performed in South Florida for New Theatre, Actors' Playhouse, Mosaic Theatre, Gold Coast Theatre, Area Stage, Florida Shakespeare, Key West Theater Festival and Hollywood Playhouse. She has been a Carbonell Award nominee eight times, most recently for Blind Date at New Theatre (2004), and last year she won Best Supporting Actress Carbonell for her role in Tom Walker at New Theatre, for which she also won the 2003 Curtain Up Award. She has been named Best Supporting Actress by the New Times in both 2001 and 2003 and received the Sustained Achievement Award from New Theatre for ten years of outstanding work. In her native UK, Lisa has done many national tours and has appeared in London's West End.
ANDRIO CHAVARRO (Jamie) is elated and honored for the opportunity to finally work with Joseph Adler. Rio, as he's known by friends and colleagues, is a true Miamian, born and bred on a little bread. He has trained in theatre and acting at MDCC Kendall, Prometeo, New World School of the Arts, and is currently working with Alec Rubin. Rio can be seen all over town ranting his poetry at every "open-mic" venue, and was last spotted in the South of Chile performing at the 15th Annual International Theatre Festival of Puerto Mont. Previous stage credits include Hell Cab (Modern Stage), the Carbonell-Winning Ensemble of Tracers (Juggerknot), The Carriage (Coconut Grove Playhouse Educational Tour), Sweet Eros and Cowboy Mouth (Trap Door), and many yet to become previous credits. Rio has appeared in national and regional commercials, and starred in four independent features, one of which will play at the Tribeca Film Festival in NY this year. During a six-year period, he earned more than a 100 credits doing voice-overs, and he is now a retired bartender gone dry. Rio loves and thanks his angelic Mother, younger/bigger Brother, tireless Father and Yvonne for their support over the years. He would also like to thank everyone at the Wallflower Gallery, the Castle Yoga, and most absolutely his wise-beyond-years cast and family: Grandpa Joe, Daddy David and Momma Lisa. In 2005 till infinity: Love to Live, Live to Love and Breathe to Create...
