JOSEPH ADLER (Director/Producing Artistic Director) is starting his ninth season as Producing Artistic Director. He previously directed on many local stages, including Coconut Grove Playhouse, New Theatre, Area Stage, Hollywood Boulevard Theatre, Players Theatre, Ruth Foreman Theatre, Florida Shakespeare Theatre, City Theatre (Summer Shorts), Hollywood Playhouse and Shores Performing Arts. At GableStage, Adler has directed Skylight, Of Mice and Men, Full Gallop, Psychopathia Sexualis, Closer, Killer Joe, This Is Our Youth, Arms and The Man, Side Man, Popcorn, Tape, The Real Thing, Adam Baum and the Jew Movie, Citizen Tom Paine, The Blue Room, Mindgame, Boy Gets Girl, James Joyce's The Dead, Edward Albee's The Play About the Baby, A Lesson Before Dying, Nixon's Nixon, Chinese Coffee, The Guys, The Shape of Things, Dirty Blonde, Tabletop, The Diary of Anne Frank, Frankie and Johnny at the Clair de Lune, The Goat, What The Butler Saw, Ten Unknowns, 'Master Harold' ...and the boys, QED, Trumbo (in which he also performed), Frozen, Bug, Retreat From Moscow, The Syringa Tree, A Bad Friend, Misery, Brooklyn Boy, Address Unknown, Intimate Apparel, Miss Margarida's Way, This Is How It Goes and The Pillowman. Active in South Florida's film and theatre community for many years, Adler has directed hundreds of television commercials and industrial films, winning many awards, including the Clio. Other directorial credits include several independent feature films, a video version of the Broadway hit comedy Doubles and a cable TV series. He has received eighteen nominations (eleven at GableStage) and six times won the Carbonell Award for Best Director: The Shadow Box (Coconut Grove Playhouse); The Killing of Sister George (Players Theatre); A Lesson Before Dying, James Joyce's The Dead, Edward Albee's The Goat and Frozen (GableStage). He received a Remy Award from the Theatre League of S. Florida, and was awarded the prestigious George Abbott Award for "significant contributions to the artistic life and cultural development of greater Miami, Fort Lauderdale and the Palm Beaches". Recently, he was honored with the Heart of the Arts Award from New World School of the Arts. Adler studied drama at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, and graduated from the Film Department at NYU.

RAY BRADBURY (Author/Playwright) was born on August 22, 1920, and grew up in Waukegan, IL. His plays, novels and stories are studied and appreciated by readers, schools and audiences everywhere. Many consider him the greatest creator of modern science fiction. He has published some 500 short stories, novels, plays and poems since his first story appeared in Weird Tales when he was 20 years old. In 1953, Bradbury wrote Fahrenheit 451, his most celebrated novel - and the screenplay for John Huston's Moby Dick. His television credits include Alfred Hitchcock Presents, The Twilight Zone, and his own cable television show, called Ray Bradbury Theater, which received 19 cable award nominations and won seven. When one of the Apollo astronaut teams landed on the moon, they named the Dandelion Crater there to honor Bradbury's novel, Dandelion Wine. Bradbury's novel, Something Wicked This Way Comes, was made into a major motion picture. Other novels include Falling Upward, The Martian Chronicles and The Flying Machine.

TIM CONNELLY (Set Design) returns to GableStage where he designed the sets for Chinese Coffee, Tabletop, Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, Ten Unknowns, 'Master Harold'... and the Boys, QED, Trumbo, The Syringa Tree, Address Unknown and Miss Margarida's Way. Tim hails from Kentucky, and has lived and worked in South Florida for 20 years. He owns and operates the Charles T. Studio, designing and building sets for the film and commercial industry. Among Tim's finest accomplishments are his three children, Justin, Jessica and Ryan. Between raising kids and working, Tim fills his time sailing and fishing.

ERIC NELSON (Lighting Design) is excited to have the opportunity of working here at GableStage. His most recent designs were for the productions Ladies and Not So Gentle Women and Affluenza! at New Theater. Other companies Mr. Nelson has designed for include Coconut Grove Playhouse, Nickelodeon Productions, Hollywood Playhouse, Dreamers Theater, Juggerknot Theater Company, New World School of the Arts, Borderlands Theater Company, METAtheater, Dazart Theater Company, a.k.a. Theater and many dance companies in South Florida and Arizona. Eric would like to thank his wife Gina and his son Kai for the love, support and patience they give him.

MATT COREY (Sound/Music) earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Bassoon Performance at the University of Miami and currently plays in the pit orchestra for the Florida Grand Opera. By day, Matt is the Digital Production Manager at Insight for the Blind Studios in Fort Lauderdale, an organization that produces 100 "Talking Book" titles each year for the blind and physically handicapped. Matt's most recent sound design/music credits are Brooklyn Boy, Address Unknown, Intimate Apparel Miss Margarida's Way, This Is How It Goes and The Pillowman here at GableStage. ANANDA KEATOR (Costumes) is pleased to be working on the adaptation of one of her favorite books with one of her favorite theater companies. This is her third production at GableStage after designing for The Pillowman and This Is How It Goes. In real life, Ananda is a costumer about town - but just for today she's decided to be on fire extinguisher duty if anyone tries to burn any books anywhere near her. Tomorrow is Michael's watch day, even though he doesn't know it yet. Thanks to all.

WALTER COLLINS (Video/Projection) is an independent producer/editor who has worked on wide variety of projects including feature films, nationally syndicated TV programs and documentaries. Walter could not imagine living in a world without books and is very proud to have worked on this production of Fahrenheit 451 with his long time friend and colleague, Joseph Adler. It has an especially gratifying experience as he has been able to film the behind-the-scenes process in the making of this play for an upcoming documentary. Much love to his wife Maritza and "daughter" Pam, and his entire family for their support. Also thanks to Ray Bradbury for having such a vivid imagination and a passion for freedom of thought!

DAVID PATIÑO (Animation) is a graphic designer and animator. Based in Bogotá, Colombia, he specializes in animation for Web and TV. To Pame, my girlfriend, for being beautiful, loving, understanding and creating art with me, to all my family who I love so much - thanks for the support! and finally to my puppy dog Martin, for allowing me to analyze his anatomy so that I could learn how to make The Hound walk and run! PAMELA ALARCÓN (Animation) is an art loving graphic designer. Based in Bogotá, Colombia, she is a graduate from the Jorge Tadeo Lozano Universidad De Bogotá. Pamela would like to thank her parents and grandparents for all their

MICHAEL JOHN CARROLL (Stage Manager) is thrilled to be beginning his fourth season with GableStage after recently completing the successful runs of The Pillowman, This Is How It Goes, Miss Margarida's Way, Intimate Apparel, Address Unknown, Brooklyn Boy, Misery, A Bad Friend, The Syringa Tree, The Retreat From Moscow (Carbonell Best Play Nominee), Bug, Frozen (Carbonell Best Play), Trumbo, QED and Master Harold...and the boys. Michael graduated from Barry University in 2001 with a BFA in Acting, but found the chance to stage manage shows such as Little Shop of Horrors and Hello Dolly before graduating. After contributing to a dozen productions at Actors' Playhouse and the Coconut Grove Playhouse, Michael went from backstage to the booth again as the stage manager for plays at the Hollywood Playhouse, Broward Stage Door Theatre, and the Miami premiere of Hedwig and the Angry Inch at Level Nightclub on Miami Beach. Proud member of Actors Equity Association and the Theatre League of South Florida. Michael's short list of inspirations include Jeff Buckley, Michel Gondry, and Mom.
