JIM BALLARD (Tom) recently moved to South Florida with his wife, Chrissy, and problem child Italian greyhound Misty May. Recent credits include: The Sound of Music - National and Asian tours; Gaston in Beauty and the Beast at Little Theatre on the Square; Bo in Bus Stop, Corson Productions; I Hate Hamlet at Broa Theatre; Valentine in Kiss of the Spider Woman at Nevada Rep Theatre; Closer Than Ever at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival; and Valmont in Dangerous Liasons for Nevada Rep Theatre. MARGOT MORELAND (Helen) is elated to be back at GableStage having just completed a very successful run of Bingo: The Musical. Before that she was away for 18 months doing Shear Madness at the Kennedy Center in DC, GEVA Theatre in Rochester, NY and Studio Arena in Buffalo, NY. Prior to Washington, DC, Margot took part in more "Madness" at the Broward Center, West Palm, and Actors' Playhouse, FL. She has been honored with the Carbonell Award for her performances in Ruthless!, Tomfoolery, Heartbeats, and Annie (Miami NewTimes Best Actress 2004). GableStage audiences may remember Margot as Mae West/Jo in Dirty Blonde. Other favorites include Gypsy, She Loves Me, Zombie Prom, Closer Than Ever, Fiddler On The Roof, Watercoolers and I Love You...Now Change. Miss Moreland has been an adjunct faculty member at the University of Miami and takes great pride in her position on Council of Actors' Equity.
BRANDON MORRIS (Carter) couldn't be happier to be working
again with the energetic, passionate, and yes - even poetic at times - Joseph
Adler. Brandon was first seen at GableStage last year in This is How it
Goes, and most recently David Mamets' Romance. Past Favorites
include Summer Shorts 2002-2005 (City Theater), Black Sheep
(Florida Stage), The Boys Next Door (Palm Beach Dramaworks),
Touch and Day of Reckoning (New Theater) and Food Chain
(Mosaic Theater). Television credits include Dexter, C.S.I. Miami, South
Beach and 3 episodes of America's Most Wanted. Brandon will soon be
appearing in the Burn Notice pilot on USA Network. You can also catch him
this summer with City Theater's Summer Shorts. Brandon graduated from New
World School of the Arts where he received a B.F.A. in acting. He is a proud AEA
and I.A.T.S.E. (local 500) union member. Thanks to Dianne, Joe, M.C., this
talented cast and crew.
AUBREY SHAVONN (Jeannie) is appearing for the first time at Gablestage and is very happy to be working with everyone here. South Florida credits include The Credeaux Canvas, Ladies And Not So Gentle Women, Hamlet (New Theatre), Betty's Summer Vacation, Here In My Car (Mad Cat Theatre Company), The Nerd (Stage Door), Just Assassins (Dreamers Theatre), Seascape With Sharks and Dancer (Modern Stage Company). She also appeared in The Woman In Black (Westport Country Playhouse), Freestyle Series (Juggerknot NYC). Aubrey is a former member of the Michael Chekov Theatre Company in NYC. She graduated from New World School of the Arts Conservatory and is a member of the Actors' Equity Association.
