  Todd Allen Durkin

TODD ALLEN DURKIN (Mitchell) was seen at GableStage in The Lieutenant of Inishmore, This is How it Goes and BUG (2006 Carbonell Nominee for Best Actor). A Company Member of Mad Cat Theatre, he was last seen there in Mister Beast, Mr. Marmalade and Artful Dodgers. Todd performed at Palm Beach Dramaworks in Harold Pinter's Betrayal, The Voice of The Prairie and That Championship Season (2006 Carbonell Award). At Mosaic Theatre, he appeared in Will Enos' Thom Pain (the title role), The Pull of Negative Gravity and Dealers Choice (2006 Best Supporting Actor Carbonell Nomination). Late last year Todd was seen at Florida Stage in Hatchetman. Past theatrical credits include: Much Ado About Nothing, Midsummer Nights Dream, The Tempest, Love's Labour's Lost, Riff-Cat Polito in The Virtual Adventures of Riff-Cat Polito, BUMP, Beggar on Horseback, Salt-Water Moon, Agamemnon, as Touchstone in As You Like It, as Hamlet in Hamlet and as Lenny Bruce in Julian Barry's Lenny (1995 Best Actor Carbonell Nomination and Miami New Times Best Actor in a Comedy). During his eight years in New York, Todd worked at Cherry Lane Theatre, Theatrix Theatre, Vital Theatre Company, Theatreworks USA and Peccadillo Theatre Company. TV and film credits include: Toothpaste, Reindeer Games, America's Most Wanted, Ghost Stories, Golf Balls and Vote Early, Vote Often.


  Justin Sims

JUSTIN SIMS (Alex) is thrilled to be making his GableStage debut. A 2002 graduate of Circle in the Square Theatre in New York, his New York credits include Sisters (The Bread Theater) and Lysistrada (Shetler Studios). His most recent credits include New Kid in association with Palm Beach Dramaworks, Dominoe FX at The Duncan Theater and Out of Gas on Lover's Leap at The Cuillo Theater. Justin enjoys writing lyrics and kinetic chess. Thanks Todd for the call, and Joe for the opportunity... I'm looking forward to working with you.


  Valerie Stanford

VALERIE STANFORD (Ellen) comes from New York City where she appeared in over 25 Off- and Off-Off-Broadway productions. Credits include Hamlet, Miss Julie, Last of the Red Hot Lovers, and SubUrbia in such venues as the Ontalogical Theatre, the 24 Hour Plays, LaMama ETC., Playground Theatre and HB Studios. Valerie attended Florida State University Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training with Jose Quintero in addition to studying with Kristen Linklater, Second City Improv, Shakespeare and Co. with Tina Packer, and Shakespeare Repertory in Chicago. She is a member of the Actors' Equity Association.


  Pilar Uribe

PILAR URIBE (Diane) is delighted to be working under the direction of Joe Adler at Gablestage. A native of NYC, she comes to Miami from Bogota, Colombia, where she spent 9 years in contract roles on prime time soap operas: Maria Beatriz in Yo Soy Betty La Fea (the original 'Ugly Betty'), Ana in Pobre Pablo, Regina in La Madre, Cindy in Guajira, and Cristina in Eternamente Manuela, among others, which have been seen in several countries. In January she will begin filming a new television series in Miami and Bogota. Her stage credits include a stint off-Broadway at the Pearl Theatre in She First Met Her Parents on the Subway, Welcome to My Life at McGinn Cazale Theatre, and A Chorus Line at Fantasy Playhouse. In South Florida she has performed in Last of the Red Hot Lovers, Winnie the Pooh, The Constant Wife, and most recently, Nine Parts of Desire, a one-woman show at Mosaic Theatre. Special thanks to Doug for his friendship, Barbara for her continuing support, Lynn for the dress, and Richard, Kim, and Paul for the pep talk at Falcon's.
