Amy AndersonAMY ANDERSON (Carly) a local actor in South Florida, is happy to be returning to GableStage where she appeared last season as Karen in Speed-the-Plow. She graduated from the BFA Musical Theatre Conservatory program at the University of Miami in the spring of 2005. Previously she has appeared at the Tamarac Theatre of Performing Arts as Judy Denmark in Ruthless! The Musical, and was also proud to be a cast member at Laffing Matterz from 2007 to 2009. Other credits include: The New Vista Variety Hour (featured performer); The Musical of Musicals (Abby) at Tamarac; School House Rock LIVE, Charlotte's Web (The Goose), Hansel & Gretel (Gretel) and Stone Soup at Broward Center for the Performing Arts; Understood Betsy at Actors' Playhouse Theatre for Young Audiences and Khalaas! Todd Allen DurkinTODD ALLEN DURKIN (Kent) is performing in his third Neil LaBute play ~ after This is How it Goes (also at GableStage) and Some Girls. Other performances at GableStage include The Lieutenant of Inishmore, BUG, The Little Dog Laughed and Betrayed. Additional credits include Moon For The Misbegotten (James Tyrone), The Zoo Story (Jerry), That Championship Season, Benefactors, Harold Pinter's Betrayal, the title role in Will Enos' Thom Pain (based on nothing), The Pull of Negative Gravity, Dealers Choice, Much Ado About Nothing, Midsummer Nights Dream, The Tempest, Love's Labour's Lost, The Virtual Adventures of Riff-Cat Polito (Riff-Cat Polito), BUMP, Beggar on Horseback, Salt-Water Moon, Agamemnon, As You Like It (Touchstone), the lead in Hamlet and as Lenny Bruce in Julian Barry's Lenny. Todd has been nominated five times and twice awarded the Carbonell Award for Best Supporting Actor, as well as named Best Actor by NewTimes. He is a proud member of Mad Cat Theatre Company, and has worked locally at Mosiac Theatre, Florida Stage, Palm Beach Dramaworks. In New York he has appeared at New York's Cherry Lane Theatre, Theatrix Theatre, Vital Theatre Company, Theatreworks USA and Peccadillo Theatre Company. Erin Joy SchmidtERIN JOY SCHMIDT (Steph) is thrilled to be making her GableStage debut. Recent credits include Viva Bourgeois (Mad Cat), Summer Shorts 2008 & 2009 (City Theatre), Dead Man's Cell Phone (Mosaic Theatre), Mezzulah 1946 (Florida Stage), 4.48 Psychosis (Naked Stage), Talk Radio (Mosaic Theatre), The Lion in Winter (Caldwell Theatre), Uncommon Women and Others and Tongue of a Bird (Women's Theatre Project), and MIXTAPE and Some Girl(s) (Mad Cat). Erin is also an acting company member of Mad Cat. She received her MFA in Acting from the Actors Studio Drama School in NYC where she worked for several years before moving back to South Florida. When not on stage, Erin is an Adjunct Professor of Theatre at Broward College.


 

Ricky WaughRICKY WAUGH (Greg) a native of Fort Pierce, Florida, is thrilled to be working once again in beautiful Coral Gables. It has been a little over a year since he appeared at GableStage in back-to-back productions of Shining City (Ian) and Betrayed (Bill Prescott). Ricky has been working in South Florida for the last four years, having made his debut at the M Ensemble in North Miami with the 2005 production of Medal of Honor Rag (Doctor). He was also a founding company member of The PlayGround Theatre for Young Audiences, where he appeared from 2005 to 2008 in the productions A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings (Pelayo), Creation of the World and Other Business (Cain) and The Beast ("Friend"). Earlier this year, Ricky was awarded a Carbonell Award for Best Ensemble Production for his role in The Promethean Theatre's Three Sisters and a Piano (Lt. Portuondo), a role that also earned him The Silver Palm Award as part of the TLSF's South Florida Theatre Festival. Most recently, you may have seen Ricky in Mosaic Theatre's productions of In Darfur (Carlos) and Neil Labute's In a Dark Dark House (Drew). As always, Ricky is thrilled to be working again at GableStage and would like to thank Mr. Joseph Adler for this great opportunity!
