NICK BIXBY (Dennis Ziegler) first appeared on stage at the age of six in the Kentucky
Methodist Church production of Falling Bobbypins in the role of Mishka. From there
he traveled the National Church theatre circuit in various religious musicals in ensemble roles,
most notably at the Roof in Fiddler on the Roof. Nick returns to GableStage after
appearing in last season's Skylight. Nick is also happy to be reunited with Oscar and
Samara, with whom he appeared in Sleepwalkers at the Area Stage. Along with artistic
and business mentors such as David Stratenberg, Nick would most of all like to recognize his
family and friends for their endless love ad support. This one is for you, Flappy!
OSCAR ISAAC (Warren Straub) is thrilled to be making his debut at GableStage. Some of his
theatre credits this past year include Pvt. Wars for Horizons Reperatory Co.,
Prodigal Kiss in the Key West Theatre Festival and Sleepwalkers at Area
Stage (Carbonell award for Best New Play). When Oscar is not acting, he can be seen playing in his
Ska band, "The Blinking Underdogs", throughout Florida. Oscar would like to thank his soul
mate, Maria, for her continued support.
SAMARA SISKIND (Jessica Goldman) is happy to be making her debut at GableStage. Samara
holds a BFA in Theatre from Webster University's Conservatory of Theatre Arts where she appeared in
Crimes of the Heart, 'Tis a Pity She's a Whore and Moon on a Rainbow Shawl.
Other stage credits include Action and Coitus (Juggerknot Theatre Company),
Bang Bang You're Dead (Coconut Grove Playhouse), Snow White (Actor's
Playhouse),Grandma Silvia's Funeral (Broward Stage Door), Sleepwalkers
(Area Stage) and My Sister in This House (Great Plains Theatre Festival). |
