Over one fateful summer, an unlikely friendship develops between a fiercely iconoclastic artist and single mother and a naïve young housewife. As the Bicentennial is celebrated across the country, these two women navigate motherhood, ambition, and intimacy, and help each other discover their own independence. This deeply moving, insightful piece by Pulitzer winner David Auburn (Proof) is about connection, memories, and the small moments that can change the course of our lives. Starring Patti Gardner (The Price) and Sara Morsey (The Year of Magical Thinking). A Miami Premiere.
